That’s right. You get it first. I was just playing with my new iPhone 3GS when I decided to test out a few media applications that I had been searching for. Well, after using MusicStudio to create a few simple beats, I thought to myself: “I need something funky!” While lying in bed at about 1am, I started pumping out some new tunes that sounded pretty ol’ skool to me. I knew right then that this was it.

The next morning I started working on the lyrics. The hook came to me within a few minutes of listening to the tracc again. I typed it into my notepad on the iPhone. Left the house shortly thereafter to visit with my VP, Prilo, and let him know what I’ve come up with. He told me it was a hit. Thanks, bro.

It took me another 3 hours to write the three verses I had planned on putting on the song. Once I felt comfortable with all that I’d done, it was time to record. I laid the vocals with MultiTrack DAW for iPhone by HarmonicDog. This program is an 8-track recorder by default unless you choose to buy the update which expands the system to 24 tracks. Once done recording, I did a little mixing to make it somewhat “radio ready.”
